Ray & Mae

Ray & Mae Doula is named after my two daughters, a tribute to the strength passed down through generations of women. Every mother’s body and story are unique, and birth should reflect that—not fit into a mold.

What Sets Ray & Mae Apart?

  • No One-Size-Fits-All Approach – Every birth is different, and every choice is valid.

  • Support Without an Agenda – Whether medicated or unmedicated, hospital or home birth, I’m here to support your decisions.

  • Guidance, Not Pressure – My role is to educate, advocate, and stand beside you, not to tell you how birth should go.

  • Faith & Intuition – I believe in following God’s spirit and honoring the unique path each woman is called to.

  • Healing Through Movement & Nutrition – I specialize in pre & postnatal fitness, core and pelvic floor recovery, and postpartum nutrition, helping moms bring their bodies back into alignment and heal from the inside out.

I want my daughters to see this in everything I do—embracing individuality, trusting in God's plan, and standing strong in the choices we make. Birth is sacred, personal, and powerful, and I am here to be your ally.

 Why hire a Doula?

  • Having a doula by your side means having someone who knows birth, understands your needs, and helps you feel confident in the process. With continuous support, moms are less likely to need a C-section or medical interventions they didn’t plan for.

  • Whether you plan to go unmedicated or want an epidural, a doula provides tools and support to help you manage labor in the way that feels right for you. Many moms find they feel more in control of their pain and less dependent on medication with a doula’s guidance.

  • The early days of breastfeeding can be overwhelming, but having someone there to encourage and assist can make all the difference. With the right support, moms are more likely to successfully start and continue breastfeeding.

  • Postpartum is a major transition, and it’s easy to feel alone in it. Having a postpartum doula has been shown to lower the risk of postpartum depression and anxiety, helping moms feel supported, seen, and cared for in those critical early weeks.

  • From diapering to sleep routines to understanding newborn cues, postpartum doulas provide hands-on guidance to help new parents feel secure in caring for their baby. Whether it’s your first or fourth child, having a little extra support makes a world of difference.
